Translation Guidelines for Non-English Documents

Translation Guidelines

The documents you share with Vepapu must be in English. If your documents are not in English, they must go through the following process:
  1. Certified as a true copy first.
  2. Translated into English.
  3. The translation must be certified as a true and accurate translation.

Idea
You may use an official Certified Translation service such as RushTranslate or any other recognized professional translation service that meets certification requirements.

The certified translation must include the following statement or a similar declaration:

"On [date], the UNDERSIGNED, [name of professional translator], being fluent and competent in both English and [foreign language], hereby certify that the below is a true and accurate translation of the attached [type of document e.g. passport/utility bill] of [name of party] in [foreign language]."

or

"I, being fluent and competent in both English and [foreign language], certify that the below is a true and accurate translation of the attached [type of document e.g. proof of address] of [name of party] in [foreign language]."

The certified translation must include a signature block below the declaration.
